HOMEPAGE
With the choice of 15 ciders too much for James to cope with, he plumped for ‘one normal’ hoping the Beautiful Days bar staff would understand his request. It was there, in full confusion and wellington boots where ‘The Normals’ first discovered themselves.
Daryl and Chris, drawing on their brass band shenanigans, mixed with Dave and James’ love of six strings could only ever have one outcome.... a Folk/Rock band with a hint of Ska and Reggae!
The four have played a number of gigs in small to middle-sized pubs in the Dartmoor area, and have a loyal local following whenever they’re up.
Without wishing to bore their audiences with un-known material, The Normals have based most sets on a collection of truly great hits, adding an all important twist of trombone and a dash of trumpet for good measure.
The band are currently recording a demo album with a number of original songs to be performed at gigs and festivals throughout 2010.
